Candles can change a room just as quickly as a new piece of furniture. They are a home accent which look beautiful and give off charming light. You need to decide if you like the flicker of the flame itself, the color of the glass that is lit up or the crystals and etc. that sparkle and dance. Next you need to consider how tall you want the candles to be. A rule of thumb is that a room is more interesting if it has many different heights in it from the curtains to the sofa to the home accents. It is very conservative and more formal to have the room have more heights at the same level. You might also consider the width or room that the candle will encompass. You don’t want a candle teetering on a small table where it barely fits. Finally… what do you love? What calls your name when you see it? It is so important to have items in your home that appeal to you. So often, people get caught up in the “match” game where all of the items matching is the only priority.
